Sample Business Plans
History
The sample business plans listed below were prepared to illustrate simple business plans for different types of businesses. They will help you prepare a simple plan to test the feasibility of your business idea. It is important to test your business idea by preparing a simple plan. If your idea looks as if it has possibilities, then you can write an expanded business plan with the help of a financial institution, Small Business Administration, Small Business Development Center, Small Business Institute at a college or university, chamber of commerce, or other organization that provides such assistance.
The information sources listed in these plans may or may not represent actual sources of information
and are provided for the sole purpose of making the plans appear more realistic. The financial and other data may or may not represent industry practice and are provided to illustrate formats, not actual business operations. Therefore, you should not rely on the figures, but should do your research and find current information that fits your business idea.
